Through extensive research, I delved into the essence of Mardi Gras in New Orleans to create a poster that truly encapsulates the spirit of this iconic event. Drawing inspiration from the city's rich cultural tapestry, I carefully selected traditional Mardi Gras colors—purple, gold, and green—to infuse the design with authenticity and vibrancy.

Incorporating illustrations depicting various facets of New Orleans culture was important. I meticulously crafted visuals that pay homage to the city's renowned cuisine, storied history, lively music scene, and exuberant celebrations. From iconic dishes like gumbo, to symbols of New Orleans heritage such as jazz instruments, every element was thoughtfully included to evoke the essence of the city's identity.
